My Thoughts: I love suspense/mysteries authored by Nancy Mehl. So, when this novel, Fatal Frost, showed up in my mailbox I immediately began reading this story!
Big mistake! Just a word to the wise this is not a story to begin at bedtime! I finally had to put this grand book down at 1:00 a.m.!
Mercy Brennan is a great worker but to be honest she is quite naive.
She is working with her ex-boyfriend, Mark. And from the beginning she had misgivings about him.
Then Mercy finds out that Mark and her boss haven't been honest with her, in fact, they have left her completely in the dark. And now a notoriously bad gang thinks she has vital information that they want...at any price!
Mercy and Mark have to go to another rather remote office and low and behold a fatal storm pops up!
Mercy is in quite a jam!
Loved, loved this suspenseful story! Can't wait for another Defenders of the Justice story!
