My Review: Lisa T. Bergren is another favorite author of mine. I had read all of the Full Circle Series but somehow missed this sixth one, Firestorm.
Reyne is a smoke jumper, a firefighter who parachutes into a remote area to combat fires. How firefighters combat fires was probably the key element of this story.
Of course, it's not just about Reyne and fires, there's also her past . . . that terrible blaze that left an unspeakable tragedy that Reyne can't let go of.
Then Logan, wonderful and fearless also a smoke jumper who just happens to come into Reyene's line of vision. And! pop! Instant attraction! But of course, Reyne and Logan deny the attraction.
Reyne is so caught up in her own past and Logan loves his job and thinks that Reyne needs to quit her desk job and face the job she loves.
Then there's that fateful flicker and it takes all of the firefighters to overcome that one blaze.
This is an interesting book with a lot of action and a lot of romance. If you enjoy this combination mixed with God's love then you'll probably enjoy this sweet, fast paced read! Great for a summer day of just laying by the pool or resting on the patio.
