{Zondervan Blog Tour} Falling to Pieces...a Shipshewana Amish Mystery by Vannetta Chapman

Book Description:
In the Amish community of Shipshewana, two women—one Amish, one English—reluctantly join forces for a short-term business venture. Neither is looking for friendship, but when the town's newspaper editor is murdered, and an unexpected prime suspect is identified, the women form an unlikely alliance to solve the mystery.
My Review:
In Falling to Pieces by Vannetta Chapman we meet Callie Harper an English woman who inherits her aunt's quilt shop in Shipwhewana, Indiana, which just happens to be surrounded by Amish communities. Unknowingly, Callie has also inherits a mystery!
Callie comes to Shipshe with some emotional baggage that creates a barrier of incompleteness in her life.
The first day at her aunt's shop Callie meets three kind and thoughtful Amish ladies who have trials and hardships of their own.
As the story continues Callie and the three Amish ladies form a bond that creates a friendship.
Deborah seems to be the most outgoing of the Amish friends.  Then Esther, who has lost her beloved husband in a tragic accident, is a quiet, wait patiently type of person. And then Melinda is dealing with a son who  has a rare disease.
As the three friends come to Callie to sell their quilts on EBay, a mystery unfolds.  The mean.hearted editor of the local newspaper is found dead at his desk by Callie!  She is a prime suspect since she and the editor had some heated words at the local deli.
With three great friends, especially puzzle solving Deborah, will the four friends solve the mystery before someone else is hurt?  Oh, and Callie's inherited dog, Max, is one of those pets that we all long to have!
I loved this fantastic read!  I loved the way Mrs. Chapman wrote about the Amish and the Englisch becoming friends and working together.
If you enjoy good, clean suspense with patches of friendship and faith intermingled with the who.done.it.mystery, then don't miss this grand-
tastic read!
