Last Light is the first book in an exciting new series.
My Review:   My great aunt gave me this series after she read it and so I've decided to go back and read some books that I seem to have missed.
Last Light is the first book in the Restoration Series by Terri Blackstock.
Let me just say...WOW! Talk about a read that will make one think!  This is an excellent, could this really happen read!?!
It is one of those heart thumbing, stayed.up.too.late because I just need to know what is going to happen next!
This read begins with ALL electricity and modern conveniences coming to a dead stop!  People have to find a way to get home without cars, find a way to cook without electric or running water, no grocery stores are open because store can't function without electricity.
Also, the "evil" comes out in people.  Good people try to maintain some sense of decorum.
This is an excellent read!  But be warned...Don't begin this book if you need to get up early the next day!

About the Author:

Terri Blackstock is a New York Times best-seller, with over six million copies sold worldwide. She has had over twenty-five years of success as a novelist. Terri spent the first twelve years of her life traveling in an Air Force family. She lived in nine states and attended the first four years of school in The Netherlands. Because she was a perpetual "new kid," her imagination became her closest friend. That, she believes, was the biggest factor in her becoming a novelist. She sold her first novel at the age of twenty-five, and has had a successful career ever since.

  1. Thanks for the heads up Tammy! I just ordered it and can't wait for it to come in! When it does come in everything else will have to be put on hold...except dinner...maybe!
