{Zondervan Blog Tour} Thunder of Heaven by Tim LaHaye & Craig Parshall

Book Description:  The End Series by New York Times bestselling author Tim LaHaye and Craig Parshall is an epic thrill ride ripped from today’s headlines and filtered through Scriptural prophecy. As world events begin setting the stage for the “end of days” foretold in Revelation, Joshua Jordan must weigh the personal price he must pay to save the nation he loves.

Thunder of Heaven appeals to the tens of millions of readers who have already made Tim LaHaye a household name and one of the best selling authors of all time. This book is a return to form for Tim LaHaye whose previous prophetic fiction series, Left Behind, has sold roughly 70 million copies.
Those who have read Left Behind and are eager for more highly charged fiction based on biblical prophesies will embrace Thunder of Heaven for the same reasons that turned Left Behind into the world’s most celebrated publishing phenomenons of the last two decades.

My Review:  WOW!  This is an incredible read!
This read begins with "In the Near Future"  where Hassan and his two partners are going over the mission.  Hassan has doubts about one of the "helpers", Farhat.
Then Joshua Jordan's  daughter is on a flight that is hit by a Stinger missile.  As Joshua sits in his Colorado living room watching the screen and trying to make sense of it all, he thinks, "Three flights in three parts of the country.  One crashed.  Two turned around.  This is sounding terribly familiar..."
When Joshua's job is on the line because his controversial RTS system failed to protect flight 199 from Chicago and is shot down by terrorist missile, Joshua and his wife, Abigail, are not afraid.  They pray and seek God's guidance and take on the "enemy."
As one reads this book it feels as if "it is real."  Prophetic? Too close to home not to pay attention to the warning!
Tim LaHaye and Craig Parshall have done an outstanding job of research on bible prophecy.  Integrating the future, the here and now, and God's Word into a novel of epic proportions is no small feat!  Even adding some romance to a seat gripping novel that will make you think and pray!
A read that is packed from cover to cover with action, love and adventure!
