Book Description: As a forensic genealogist, Willow Anderson is following in her late grandfather's footsteps in her quest for answers about a baby abducted from the hospital more than twenty years ago. The case may be cold, but things are about to heat up when someone makes an attempt on her life to keep her from discovering the truth.
Ex-FBI agent--and Willow's ex-flame--Austin McKade readily offers his help to protect the woman he never should have let get away. Together they'll follow where the clues lead them, even if it means Austin must face the past he's spent much of his life trying to forget. And even if it puts Willow's tender heart at risk.
My Thoughts: I've loved reading Love Inspired Suspense by Elizabeth Goddard and now she has a novel out. The first in the Uncommon Justice series.
Willow Anderson had my heart at page one. And the story of her grandfather and their love for one another. When the story begins Willow's grandfather has just passed away. As Willow tried to take care of his estate and mail from his forensic office where she also works certain things begin to appear and to happen.
When Willow's life is at stake and she almost doesn't make it through a home fire her ex-flame, handsome Austin McCade comes to make sure she is okay.
Oh.the.vibes. Oh.the.suspense!
This is a fast paced read.
At times one thinks that the mystery is solved and then something more sinister and suspenseful pops up. I love stories like this!
And the clues that Willow and Austin follow don't always add together. That is the interesting part of this romantic suspense story...who stays one step ahead of them and why?
Oh.you'll.love.this.story!
