In Good Company by Jen Turano

Book Description:  After growing up as an orphan, Millie Longfellow is determined to become the best nanny the East Coast has ever seen. Unfortunately, her playfulness and enthusiasm aren't always well-received and she finds herself dismissed from yet another position.

Everett Mulberry has quite unexpectedly become guardian to three children that scare off every nanny he hires. About to depart for Newport, Rhode Island, for the summer, he's desperate for competent childcare.

At wit's end with both Millie and Everett, the employment agency gives them one last chance--with each other. As Millie falls in love with her mischievous charges, Everett focuses on achieving the coveted societal status of the upper echelons. But as he investigates the suspicious circumstances surrounding the death of the children's parents, will it take the loss of those he loves to learn whose company he truly wants for the rest of his life?

My Thoughts:  I've had the privilege of reading all of Jen Turano's books.  I just love the covers on her books. And this is a fantastic cover of In Good Company.  Don't get stuck on the beautiful cover though  because once the cover is turned and one begins reading, the story is better than the cover.  Love this fun story line.

We find Millie Longfellow who has never known a home since she is an orphan. This creates quite a disadvantage for Millie.  She wants to be a fun loving, playful nanny but that's not what parents want in nanny so Millie keeps losing positions.

And then, Everett Mulberry unexpectedly becomes guardian to three children.  These three children scare off every nanny, leaving Everett in a quandary.

At their wits end, the employment agency comes up with one solution....Millie and Everett must work together.  This is where the fun and the story really begins.
And there's a mystery involved in this romance...the suspicious death of the children's parents.  Everett becomes involved in his investigation while Millie falls in love with the children.
But Everett as well as Millie learn some life lessons about themselves in this fantabulous read!
