{Glass Road Blog Tour} After Life What You Need to Know about Heaven, the Hereafter and Near-Death Experiences. by hank Hanegraaff

Book Description:  If there was ever a need-to-know book, AfterLife is it. On his daily call-in radio show, the most common questions Hanegraaff fields are about the hereafter. For instance, millions are voraciously reading about the near-death experiences of young children. Consumers are desperate for knowledge and reassurance about what comes after life on this earth. Hank Hanegraaff, one of the most remarkable theological minds of the 21st century, explains the marvelous way this physical life connects our past to our eternal future. AfterLife gives readers a clear and concrete understanding about what happens after death to us and to those we love.

My Thoughts: Hank Hanegraaff is also known as the Bible Answer Man.  Growing up I remember that my dad would listen to Hank Hanegraaff on the radio.  Mr. Hanegraaff has written a book about AfterLife which answers questions {in his own words} about what  happens when we pass on to the next life.
I think Mr. Hanegraaff makes some valid and interesting points in this book, After Life.  He begins the book with heaven. . . Is there really a heaven?  Is there a hell?  Is there a place called purgatory? I must admit that he did a lot of research and he takes a lot of his research from the Scriptures so if you read the Bible I think you'll come up with some of the same answers as Mr. Hanegraaff.  If you don't believe in the Bible, then you'll most definitely have a completely different view.
Of course, I don't think any one will completely agree with all of his views.  I don't.  Why? Because from my upbringing, from my church attendance and due to my own Biblical views I see a few things differently than he does.  But yet as I read this book I was challenged.  One cannot just have a opinion, one must back up that opinion. His Scripture references are great to look up and read for your own "research."
This is a great reference book and, will hopefully, challenge you to read and research what you need to know about AfterLife!

  1. Thank you, Tammy, for reading and so very thoughtfully reviewing AfterLife! I especially appreciate your exhortation to test everything in light of Scripture, as well as your observation that although we might disagree on non-essential issues of doctrine, we surely agree on the essential teachings of Scripture. AfterLife helps us to live in Christ here and now with an eternal perspective!
