Book Description: To everyone who knows her, Annalise Decker is a model wife and mother. She’s a permanent member of the PTA, never misses her kids’ sporting events, and is constantly campaigning for her husband’s mayoral race.
My Thoughts: I've always wondered what it would be like to be in a Witness Protection Program? To leave behind all that was "known" and move to all that is new...even one's given name.
Well, once again, Susan May Warren writes a heart pounding, page turner that leaves the reader wanting and guessing until the very end,
Annalise seems to have the "perfect" life. Fulfilled with a faithful husband and three outstanding children. But the past has a way of catching up to one and those little"lies" have a way of becoming the truth until one is forced to 'fess up.
Annalise and her husband, Nathan, both have some things in their pasts that need to be brought to light. It seems that everyone involved had some past and needed to reconcile to the truth.
Deep Haven is one of those towns where everyone knows everyone's name but no one knows Annalise until "it" all breaks down!
I loved this read. I began reading it one day after teaching and was so glad the next day was Saturday since I forgot about the time and had to finish the book! So good just like peanut butter popcorn!
