Cappuccino with Colossians by Sandra Glahn

Book Description:

In Cappuccino with Colossians, a Coffee Cup Bible Study, you’ll encounter in the humble Son the God who created all things and through whom all things hold together—from the vastest galaxy to our very lives. This and each book in the series contains Monday-through-Friday Bible study questions along with application-oriented devotionals for lighter reading on the weekends. Designed for group or individual study, Cappuccino with Colossians sets the stage for exciting, faith-stretching interaction with God's Word—both the written one and the One made flesh.

4 chapters in compact, workbook format. Sections are broken down into short, daily segments designed to fit readers' busy lifestyles. The NET translation is included in the study.

My Review:
I've looked for and tried different devotionals/Bible studies and to be honest some are just plain boring.  So, I end up not finishing the study because I can't "get anything out" of the study.
When an author suggested this study, Cappuccino with Colossians, I liked the title so decided to check it out.  So glad I did! <I love cappuccino, too!>
I like the way the "chapters" are set up.  I can easily read the verses and then there is a study for each day of the week (Monday - Friday).
This is easy and accessible and quite frankly doable for me!  I have learned so much and I enjoy the study!
I'm reading and doing this study on my own so I'm not sure how it would work as a group study. But I like the study SO much I'm thinking of doing this same study with the high school Sunday school class I teach at church.
There are so many studies to choose from!  I can't wait to choose another study!  I'm thinking Java with the Judges sounds good!
